This book is a slender little volume of 200 pages, which in combination with the long title presented some design challenges, which is why it will not be featuring spine hubs. However, the red pigskin is perhaps the most attractive leather with which we’ve worked yet, and in combination with the intellectual significance of the interior text, it will be an exquisite addition to every book collector’s library.
More actual, unretouched images of our most recent print run can be seen above and below. It’s hard to adequately describe how excellent the quality of these books are compared to what we were previously producing; suffice it to say that we have absolutely no regrets about embarking upon this arduous process of building a bindery with you.
As previously mentioned, the Castalia Bindery is now fully operational and are actively reducing the backlog at a rate of 2-3 3-4 books per month. The next book to be bound is LOSING MILITARY SUPREMACY, and we’re expecting to get that and two other books bound in July, with a goal of binding four in August.
Tomorrow the new subscription books will be announced and we’ll have a few new cover designs and mockups to show as well.
