I like the option of adding an option to purchase credits towards tariffs. A post on recommended donations would help benchmark the need for those who can give more. I actually think there should be a donation option added to the shopping cart anyways so that people can give more if they want in recognition of how flat the pricing model has remained.
I think changes to production/shipping are something to consider as I am seeing a trend in American companies towards vertical integration but I would hate to see an impact to quality even in the short term. The great negotiator tends to negotiate so I think there is a chance the tariffs will end up closer to the 25% range.
I prefer to work with family-owned or small businesses and more than happy to pay more to do so to support the businesses. Receiving the Castalia books and putting them on my shelves has reignited my passion for reading. More than happy to pay increased price for the tariffs.
If I can get my (new) local bank to put through a bank transfer, I'd be happy to add a one-time Feed the Bindary donation to our yearly payment for UATV
We can't afford the beautiful books but we'd love to help.
I wouldn’t mind my books being held onto while tariffs potentially change, but the three-month-per-book idea is nice as well.
Edit: thought about it. I would personally only be opposed to a higher per month cost. USA made book, three-month plan, or delays would not upset me a bit.
It sounds like there ought to be a Tariff Version available. I would change my current month-to-month history subscription to the tariffed listing as it became available.
Going forward, I would like to echo the sentiment regarding producing a run of books in the United States.
I've been a subscriber since Missionaries. Subbed to History and Cathedra as well and I backed the bindery with both Illiad and Odyssey. I'm in Australia, so the exchange rate is not great either. I really can't afford more. If non-US subscribers are affected, then slower release is best.
I would expect the Swiss government to make a deal with Trump and lower the tariff.
I will pay the tariff no matter the cost.
My vote is a T-version as a stopgap measure until new shipping logistics can be ironed out. Keep up the good work!
I’m for higher quality books; if that means a tariff surcharge, so be it.

I am fine with a "T Version" and would upgrade/change my subscription as necessary.
Producing US books in the US would be my choice. Granted I have no idea the complications having two shipment pipelines creates.
The idea on social galactic is the best one. Slow down the frequency: keep the quality up.

Viva Castalia!
I like the three month option too.

I’d sign up for a T-version to the base subscriptions.
I would be happy to pay the tariff in whatever manner is most convenient for you.

If you need to increase the subscriber cost a little bit I don’t mind. I want to support Castalia and have some beautiful leather books to read from.
