i recall some time ago there was someone doing a chinese translation of some hypergamouse. any idea if that has halted or continues?
also, now that the bindery is building up to its final form, are color plates going to be easier/cheaper in the future? I saw some of the iirc 50's junior classics with a ton of color plates and IMO (and at least 1 child in family) it honestly adds quite a bit to a children's tale to have splashes of color to fuel their imaginations.
It should be easier, but we want to stay away from the old practice of tip-ins because they are glued into the book block and it's just not as secure as being sewn in like the rest of the interior. Once we catch up with our backlog, we'll start experimenting with new features both inside and out. But figure at least one year where we just focus on getting caught up; at most we'll introduce one new subscription to go with the 2nd Edition Junior Classics leather set.
