The interest in the first three Signed First Editions and the support for the bindery that has been provided through them has been exceptional. It’s meant that we can not only pay for the new machine that has been ordered and is being tested with an entire print run this week, but also for the tool sets for all of the hub sizes that we’re doing to need from Promethean to Plutarch.
However, we have to stop selling them before we can start making them, so both Arkhaven and NDM Express are going to stop selling them at midnight tonight. Until then, you can order from either store.
Thanks to the stronger-than-expected level of interest, we’ve also arranged to provide original chapter-heading artwork for all three books by MIDNIGHT’S WAR illustrator Ademir Leal. I’ve also added a thirteenth story to DEATH AND THE DEVIL, called “Death and War,” which should increase the size of the book to around 175 pages.
UPDATE: The final print runs will be in the near-vicinity of these numbers:
110: GUNS OF MARS
90: DEATH AND THE DEVIL
90: OUT OF THE SHADOWS
In other news, Castalia subscribers are posting their wins on social media as THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON begins arriving across the USA. This is actually quite helpful, as it helps spread the word about the existence of the Library. Here are a few of them.
Thanks to all the subscribers for their patience. This book was a very long time in the making, but we trust it has proved worth the wait, as it is one of our most attractive books, inside and out.

I wish I could participate in this campaign but I know the progress of the bindery invites the prospect of many more special runs to come. Congratulations, Castalia!
