In ebook and audio, not in leather
SIGMA GAME: The Complete Socio-Sexual Hierarchy by Vox Day is out and ebooks are being sent out to everyone who backed it in any edition as part of the HYPERGAMOUSE campaign.
We will be making a Signed First Edition available soon for a limited time, and everyone who backed a leather edition of SIGMA GAME will be automatically upgraded to that at no charge. It will be a few months before they’re ready, as we’ve got to get the first three Signed First Editions out, but those who want one will be able to acquire one.
We will eventually do Signed First Editions of some of the other books that have been requested, but not until the first three are shipped. In the meantime, please enjoy the beautiful sight of our newly-perfected spine hubs on THE POETIC EDDA, a custom job for our friends at the Tamburn Bindery. They’re somewhere between the Easton and the Franklin standard in terms of projection and hardness.
As with all things leather, this is a bit more complicated than it looks because all leathers behave differently, and since we’re now working with pigskin that is thinner, stronger, and stretchier than the Italian cowhide and the Italian goatskin that we’d been using, it required developing some new techniques to achieve the standard we demand.
You may recall that we went hubless on the Cambridge Byzantine Histories precisely because we couldn’t get the hubs to appear properly on the very soft Spanish cowhide that we used on those books. So, you’ll be pleased to know that we were able to improve our game with our new standard leather.
