The Junior Classics Vols. 9 and 10 will be out for Christmas
We’ve had a bit of a setback with regards to the deliver of the bindery’s new casemaking machine, which is going to be delivered and installed in mid-November now instead of mid-October. However, we’re going to make productive use of the additional month’s delay by using that time to wrap up the final two volumes of the Junior Classics.
Volume 9: Sport and Adventure
Volume 10: Poetry
The interiors are being completed and we’ve already got the cover designs well underway; below is the cover image for Volume 9, which was, like the previous eight, illustrated by Lacey Fairchild.
The Leather Junior Classics
It’s going to take a little longer to get the last two volumes finished in leather, for obvious reasons, but they should be available sometime around March. We will also make new leather sets of 10 available, either for outright purchase or through a special subscription, once we’ve sent the books out to the original backers. The new leather sets will be produced in pigskin rather than in the original cowhide, but the two final volumes of the original set of 10 will be produced in the same cowhide in order to ensure they match the previous eight volumes.
