The Junior Classics Vol. 9

Sport & Adventure is now available as part of a two-volume set

It’s been six years in the making, but the Castalia Junior Classics are finally approaching completion with the publication of Volumes 9 and 10. We’re making both volumes available together as a set now for those who purchased the eight previous volumes, so that we can place one big order for the new volumes and then start shipping them out to all the backers.

The Junior Classics Volume 9, Sport & Adventure is a 445-page collection of 27 short stories, including classics such as “Stover Plays Football”, “The Red-Headed League”, and “Descent Into the Maelstrom”. It is a unique collection, an original layout, and is illustrated with pictures throughout.

The Junior Classics Volume 9 can be purchased as a two-volume set with Volume 10, The Poetry Book, for $69.99 from the two usual sources. It will also be available from Amazon and other bookstores later in November. We anticipate placing the order in five days, so if you would like to order both books for shipment in November, please don’t hesitate to order them now.

We do not intend to make the full 10-volume set available for purchase until the annual Thanksgiving Sale next month because we do not wish to have anyone to pay the full retail price for a set and then be surprised when the sale price is offered a few weeks later. If, for some reason, there are those who do not wish to wait and want us to put them on sale at their full retail price in the intervening weeks, please feel free to send us an email letting us know and we will consider doing so.
