What Comes Next
It's time for the next serial
We’re opening the floor to nominations for our next poll on what the next serial should be. Please feel free to make your suggestions. Some obvious possibilities include the recent translation of KOKORO, which has been doing rather well on Amazon, being #1 in Japanese Language Fiction and averaging a 5.0 rating.
Another possibility might be DEATH AND THE DEVIL, which is now in preproduction for the Signed First Edition, along with GUNS OF MARS and OUT OF THE SHADOWS now that the interior illustrations for those editions are done.
Later today, we’ll be announcing the current History book as well as the new subscription for the leather Junior Classics for those who did not participate in the original crowdfund six years ago. The monthly payment will be $50, three monthly payments will cover one volume, and we’ll ship them out in two-volume sets every six months. If there is any preference for a one-time payment for the full ten-volume set, let us know and we can set one up. Volumes 9 and 10 are now being printed for the original backers.
Just to demonstrate that we are not sitting around twiddling our thumbs and writing groundbreaking books about science instead of working hard to get caught up on our oversized backlog, please have a look at the following image. If you notice, there are three distinct differences from the sets of Byzantine Empires that all the History subscribers received:
The leather is green rather than brown.
The leather is pigskin rather than cowhide.
The books have spine hubs.
In other words, our production processes at the bindery are now fully functional, although we won’t declare it fully operational until we have completed a full run of books to the proper Library standard from scratch. But we are within weeks of being able to do that, after which point you will see completed runs flowing out of it on a regular basis.
And finally, you might also like to know that all of these Castalia books available on Amazon are now available as audiobooks using the new Virtua Voice, which works surprisingly well. This includes A THRONE OF BONES and A SEA OF SKULLS, which together amount to more than 60 hours of listening time.

Not a subscriber (paid) so I won't express an opinion on what's next. Only say that I love these serialisations. Thanks.
