Cover: THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON
THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON is now being printed
This will be one of the finest editions of the classic Swiss novel ever produced. The front endpapers show the shipwreck with which the novel begins. As you can see above, for the first time we’ve gone with an asymmetric cover, since some of our various experiments with ostriches and shipwrecks simply were not working out to our satisfaction. So, we went with what might be described as an abstract island jungle theme.
Whereas the rear endpapers show the scenes from one of the family’s hunts, which was nearly as hard on the dogs as it ended up being on the porcupine.
Now that the book blocks are done and printed, we’ll just need for the leathers arrive at the US bindery; once they’re bound, they’ll be off to the warehouse for shipping to subscribers.

This was one of my favorite stories growing up. I have multiple copies and I am looking forward to the Castalia edition.
Lovely cover. I look forward to receiving the book.
I read it as a wee lad but I suspect I'll be able to read it as a new book again.
