That was a really fascinating comparison. I read through the versions several times again after yesterday's vote, and became increasingly unsure whether one of them is consistently better.

The Vennewitz version simply takes too many liberties for my taste in comparison with the original. But it is superior in a few isolated instances.

The Castalia version is more than competitive - Congratulations!

Would it be a major undertaking to fine-tune this AI for translations into other target languages? For instance, I find it very difficult to choose a German translation of Russian classics, as many contain phrasing that is obviously odd.
