Stamped: THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON

One of the most-overdue Library books is finally ready for binding

THE SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON is a very special edition, having been painstakingly assembled from the various extant editions written by three different authors. It’s a complicated story, which bears sharing on some future occasion, but it’s one of the reasons that it took us longer than usual to finish the interiors and get them ready for print.

The other reason, of course, is that this is a heavily-illustrated edition, with dozens of illustrations placed artfully inside the text throughout the book.

The scheduled date for binding is August 16th, but since both the stamping and the hubbing have already been approved, it looks like they’ll probably be bound next week. So subscribers should be receiving no less than three Library books in August, the two volumes of A SEA OF SKULLS and SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON.
